About Me
Product Designer leading payments & identity
I'm Jonas, a Product Designer at giffgaff (Virgin Media O2), where I currently lead design across payments and identity — including passkeys — for 4M+ members. Across four years on the team, I've also led design for the first 18-month contracts launch — exceeding adoption targets significantly — and the phone proposition redesign that contributed to substantial growth in app-based phone sales. The work tends to live at the intersection of design, engineering, and commercial strategy — projects where every decision has to be defensible in cost, learning value, and path to scale.
Before giffgaff, I designed at Footballco, the world's largest network of football communities, and earlier was the sole designer at Push Gaming in the regulated gambling industry. Different teams, different industries, different constraints — but the throughline has been the same: products serving significant user bases, where every design decision affects a lot of people.
Outside work, I'm at the gym, travelling, or negotiating design decisions with my Maine Coon, Alfie.
